Steve Grogan
Steve Grogan served as quarterback for The New England Patriots from 1975 until his retirement in 1990. Grogan led the team to new heights during his career, including the record for the all-time single season team rushing record with 3,156 yards (Grogan himself had 539 rushing yards and five running touchdowns) in 1978.
In 1985, Grogan and the Patriots won the AFC Championship game against the Miami Dolphins and advanced to Super Bowl XX where they ultimately lost to the Chicago Bears.
Grogan is still regarded as one of the toughest players in Patriot’s history.
In addition to being an ambassador for the foundation, Grogan is also a HearStrong Champion for his determination in overcoming his hearing loss.
