Head Football Coach

Gallaudet University

Chuck Goldstein became the 36th head football coach for Gallaudet University in December 2009. In that time, the Salisbury University alum has taken the Bison to new heights.

Through revitalized recruiting efforts, Goldstein assembled a formidable team of student-athletes. In 2012, he led the team to a school record for varsity wins, finishing the season 7-3. The team placed third in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) as well as had 13 players named to the all-conference team.

The 2013 season would mark another highlight for Goldstein and his staff. The Bison accomplished a 9-2 record en route to a conference title and the first NCAA playoff berth in the program’s history.

Our team has always prided itself on our dedication and commitment to success, and we’re very proud to have had the opportunity to promote greater awareness of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community through our accomplishments.

On February 1, 2014, the 2013 Bison were honored as HearStrong Champions during the NFL Players Association’s Smocks and Jocks art auction event in New York City. Goldstein, as well as his five senior captains, accepted the award on the team’s behalf.
