Man Receives Free Set of Hearing Aids through HearStrong’s Pay it Forward Program

DENVER, CO- David Bohrman, was recently gifted brand new Oticon hearing aids through HearStrong’s Pay it Forward program. David was nominated to receive these new devices by his friend and HearStrong Champion, Tiffany Storrs. As a selfless and humble man, Tiffany immediately knew she wanted to provide David with the hearing help he needed.

HearStrong is dedicated to helping the 80% of people with untreated hearing loss receive necessary hearing technology. This is achieved by recognizing outstanding adults and children with hearing loss and giving them a platform to empower and serve others in need of hearing care. These individuals are called HearStrong Champions. Through HearStrong’s Pay It forward program, HearStrong Champions have the opportunity to choose someone in their communities to receive free hearing aids.

David had been silently struggling to hear for a while. Even though he knew he was in need of hearing devices, he always selflessly put his family’s needs before his own. David was extremely grateful for being selected as a recipient of this program.

David said, “Thank you for all you’ve done for me and my family. I know it’s hard for you to see your impact sometimes, but for me, it’s profound.”

David was fit with his new Oticon hearing aids by Licensed Hearing Specialist, Riley Williams, at Hello Hearing Studios in Denver, CO. Shortly after his fitting, Riley noticed how the ability to hear better has already positively impacted David’s life.

Riley said, “It’s made life easier and made him more confident to simply communicate in this beautiful and noisy world.”

Getting David connected to hearing better was made possible through the generosity of Oticon’s hearing aid donation, Hello Hearing’s services, and Tiffany’s nomination. To learn more about the HearStrong Foundation and our Pay It Forward Program, please go to hearstrong.org.
