Retired NBA All-Star & NBA Slam Dunk Champion

Cedric Ceballos was an NBA player most known for his time as a small forward for the Phoenix Suns and later for the LA Lakers. Ceballos went 48th overall in the 1990 NBA draft after graduating from Cal State Fullerton. He held many records, including leading the NBA in field goal percentage during the 1992-1993 season with 57.6%. Ceballos was the NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion in 1992 and was an NBA All-Star in 1995. Ceballos is also known for his charity work with the Boys & Girls Club, the Matt Leinert Foundation, and more.

Ceballos also has a passion for music. He has created tracks with famous rapper Warren G and deejayed across the country. Currently, Ceballos hosts the radio show “Rebound Radio” and is a DJ on various XM stations. Ceballos is also a family man who believes, “You can’t receive unless you give back. I have a big heart, and I believe freely ye give, freely ye receive.”

Ceballos helped the foundation honor HearStrong Champion Rev. Johnnie Mathis in Houston on February 14th, 2013.
