The HearStrong team, including several hearing healthcare providers affiliated with EarQ, HearStrong’s main sponsor, provided free hearing screenings and empowered members of the local community to make their hearing health a priority.
East Rutherford, NJ (June 29, 2015)—For the second year, the HearStrong Foundation promoted the importance of hearing better at the NBC 4 & Telemundo 47 Health & Fitness Expo Presented by Quest Diagnostics at MetLife Stadium, the home of the New York Giants and Jets, in East Rutherford, NJ.
From June 27-28, the HearStrong team, which included hearing healthcare professionals from NYC Hearing and Balance, Economy Best Vision and Hearing, of New York, NY, and Sophisticated Hearing, of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, performed free hearing healthcare screenings as well as discussed the life-changing benefits of today’s advanced hearing technology with the roughly 40,000 attendees.
We were so proud to once again join NBC 4 New York and the team at MetLife Stadium to offer our expert services to the local community,” said Ed Keller, founder of the HearStrong Foundation. “Through more large-scale opportunities like this, we hope to raise greater awareness for hearing loss and its appropriate solutions. By doing so, we can better reach the 30 million Americans with untreated hearing loss.”
