The HearStrong team, including representatives from Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE, educated the people of Omaha about the life-changing benefits of hearing better and performed free hearing screenings.
Syracuse, NY (April 14, 2015) - On April 11 and 12, the HearStrong Foundation worked to change the way people view hearing loss and hearing solutions at the eighth annual Omaha Health, Wellness, and Fitness Expo at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE.
The HearStrong team, which included 12 volunteers from Boys Town National Research Hospital, a selected provider of EarQ, HearStrong’s main sponsor, empowered attendees to understand the important role that hearing better plays in ensuring one’s overall physical, mental, and emotional health. To help attendees make their hearing health a priority, the HearStrong team performed free hearing screenings and explained the benefits of utilizing today’s hearing technology.
“We were so happy to join the Omaha Health Expo in its passion and enthusiasm for helping people live their healthiest lives,” said Ed Keller, founder and president of the HearStrong Foundation. “By participating in these types of interactive events, we hope to continue to inspire the more than 30 million Americans with untreated hearing loss to improve their lives by choosing to hear better.”
