Mon, 07 Jul 2014 08:53:21 EST

Heidi was diagnosed with congenital hearing difficulties and was fitted with hearing devices when she was three years old after her parents noticed she wasn't developing clear speech and sometimes didn't react to noises. With the support of her doctors, speech therapists, family, friends, Heidi flourished and grew to become a scholar athlete and musician.
