Originally from Detroit, Michigan and an All-American at Michigan State, Joe DeLamielleure was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1973. A member of the famed “Electric Company” offensive line, Joe became one of the most honored linemen in Bills’ history. Throughout his 13-year NFL career, he received All-Rookie honors, six Pro Bowl selections, the Co-offensive Linemen of the Year Award, the NFLPA AFC Offensive Lineman of the Year Award, and the Forrest Greg Award for NFL Offensive Lineman of the Year, among others.

On September 14, 2014, Joe assisted the HearStrong Foundation in honoring HearStrong Champion Danielle Strassle at the 2014 Buffalo Bills Alumni VIP Tailgate Event in Buffalo, NY. During the event, Joe discussed his own struggles with hearing loss and tinnitus, both of which he attributes to his time on the field, and how hearing devices have changed his life for the better.
